Rob Rock, Gus G. 투어에 함께한다!

 

그리스 출신 Virtuoso 기타리스트 Gus G.는 4월 15일 부터 4월 24일 까지 미니 북미 투어에 롭 락과 함께 합니다. Gus G.는 오지 오스본의 기타리스트(2010년 앨범 SCREAM)이자 자신이 이끄는 밴드 FIREWIND의 리더로 잘 알려진 기타리스트 입니다.

 

Gus G.가 말하길, "나는 북미 투어에 훌륭한 뮤지션들과 함께할 것을 알려드리게 되어 너무 좋습니다. 함께하는 뮤지션은 'THE ABSENCE'의 두 멤버 Jeramie Klinger (Drums)와 Taylor Nordberg (Bass)이며, 그리고 보컬은 임펠리테리의 롭 락입니다. 롭과 저는 여러해 동안 친구로 지내왔습니다. 특히 우리는 2004년에 일본 투어에 함께했었고, 롭의 솔로앨범 'Garden Of Chaos'의 타이틀 트랙을 함께 작업했었습니다. 마침내 투어에 함께 다시하는 것에 더없이 기쁩니다. 이 투어는 매우 특별합니다. 공연은 분위기 있으면서도, 관중이 꽉 들어차고 요란할 것입니다. 놓치지 마세요!"

자료를 찾아보니 2004년도에 롭 락과 파이어윈드가 일본에서 함께 투어를 했었네요.

당시 롭 락은 본인의 솔로 밴드 Rage of Creation (Rob Rock - Vocals, Roy Z - Guitars, Rick Renstrom - Guitars, Simon Oliver - Bass, Bob Jarzombek - Drums)으로 두번째 앨범 "Eyes of Eternity" 공연을 했었습니다.

Gus. G의 2015년도 솔로앨범 Brand New Revolution은 Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax, Steel Panther, etc.)과 레코딩 하였고, Mike Fraser (Metallica, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, etc.)와 믹싱작업을 하였습니다. 2014년도에 발매된 첫번째 솔로앨범 “I Am The Fire” 앨범과 마찬가지로 Gus G. 레코딩 멤버는 드러머 Jo Nunez (Firewind), 베이시스트 Marty O’ Brien (Lita Ford band)으로 구성되어 있습니다. 게스트 보컬리스트로는 Jacob Bunton (Adler, Lynam), Mats Levén (Candlemass, ex Yngwie Malmsteen), Jeff Scott Soto (Trans-Siberian Orchesta, ex Journey) 그리고 Elize Ryd (Amaranthe)가 함께 했습니다.
