늦었지만 뒤늦게 임펠리테리 밴드의 소식을 전합니다.

임펠리테리 밴드의 메인 맨, 크리스 임펠리테리는 8월 부산 국제락페스티벌 공연 이후 2016년 9월 25일, 11월 5일, 12월 31일 까지 총 3회에 걸쳐 그의 페이스북에 게시물을 포스팅 하였습니다. 2017년에 데뷔 30주년을 맞이하는 기념 메시지 및 2016년 연말인사를 전한 바 있습니다. 특히 2017년에는 데뷔 30주년 기념 투어를 반드시 하겠다고 전했지만 4월 현재 별다른 소식은 들려오고 있지 않습니다. 크리스 임펠리테리의 페이스북 메시지를 소개합니다.

Hello Friends, I want to wish all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

IMPELLITTERI had a great 2016 performing at some of the biggest Rock Festivals around the world in support of our new album "VENOM".

IMPELLITTERI 30th Anniversary in 2017!

Thank you friends, fans, musicians, business associates, and the Gods that have kept IMPELLITTERI alive!
It amazes me to realize next year will be the 30th Anniversary of IMPELLITTERI. We have been so fortunate to share our music with so many people around the world!

I actually remember recording our first IMPELLITTERI BLACK EP in 1987 at Baby-O studios in Los Angeles California, as the band was on fire, and during a break Gene Simmons from KISS came into our studio with engineer Mikey Davis to check us out. That was our first meeting with a famous rockstar, ha ha...

Since then we have performed live in front of audiences of over 100,000 people, shared the stage with bands like Black Sabbath, Journey, and Iron Maiden. Hell, in the past we have even had people like Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon call me to see if I would be interested in playing guitar for Ozzy. but yet IMPELLITTERI still remain in the underground compared to many artists in our music category.

Maybe that is the key to the longevity of IMPELLITTERI?

We stay loyal to our music and fans and do what we want, which is Play our style of METAL, Shred our Guitar Solos, Scream those Anthem style chorus's, and have as much fun as possible playing our music!!

Well friends, here is to another 30 years of IMPELLITTERI. Love all of you for supporting us all these years!

2017년은 IMPELLITTERI 데뷔 30주년!

임펠리테리가 지금까지 함께할 수 있게해준 친구, 팬, 뮤지션, 비지니스 관계자, 그리고 신께 감사드립니다!

내년이 임펠리테리 30주년이라는 부분은 내게는 너무나 놀랍습니다. 전세계의 수많은 사람들과 함께 우리의 음악을 나눌 수 있어 너무 행운이었습니다!

저는 밴드가 열정으로 가득찼을 때인 1987년 캘리포니아 로스앤젤레스의 Baby-O 스튜디오에서 우리의 첫번째 IMPELLITTERI BLACK EP를 녹음한 것을 기억합니다. 당시 휴식시간에 KISS의 Gene Simmons가 우리를 살펴보려고 엔지니어 Mikey Davis와 함께 우리의 스튜디오를 방문했었습니다. 이것은 유명한 락스타와의 첫번째 만남이었습니다. 하하...

그때 이후로 우리는 수십만명이 넘는 관중들 앞에서 라이브 공연을 해왔으며, Black Sabbath, Journey, 그리고 Iron Maiden과 같은 밴드와 무대를 공유했습니다. 심지어 과거에 오지(Ozzy)를 위한 기타 연주에 관심이 있는지 알아보기위해 제게 전화를 걸었던 오지 오스본(Ozzy Osbourne)과 샤론(Sharon)과 같은 사람들도 있었습니다. 하지만 여전히 임펠리테리는 우리의 음악적인 부분에서 많은 아티스트들과 비교했을 때 언더그라운드에 남아있습니다.

어쩌면 이것이 IMPELLITTERI의 장수의 열쇠일까요?

우리는 우리의 음악과 팬들에게 성실함을 유지하고, 우리 스타일만의 METAL을 연주하고, Guitar Solo를 Shredding하고, 성가 스타일의 코러스를 Screaming하는 등의 우리가 원하는 것을 합니다. 그리고 가능한한 많은 즐거움을 가지고 우리 음악을 연주합니다!!

IMPELLITTERI의 또다른 30년이 있습니다. 오랫동안 우리를 지지해준 모두에게 사랑을 전합니다!

IMPELLITTERI 30th Anniversary Next Year!

I cannot believe that 2017 will mark the 30th anniversary for the band IMPELLITTERI.

The ride we are on keeps getting bigger and better each year.

I want to thank all of our friends, fans, crew, managers, agents, and even critics for supporting us on our musical journey.

WE WILL DEFINITELY TOUR IN SUPPORT OF OUR 30th ANNIVERSARY in 2017!
